The Verification Process
The first step in the verification process is to contact ACA Beacon Verification Services; they will work with your firm to establish the proper framework for implementing the GIPS. Once the initial consultation is underway Cainsoft will be called in to install, configure, and test the extract software on your system.
- Currently we are able to extract data from Advent Axys® and APX® portfolio accounting systems.
- Installation, configuration, and testing normally takes less than one hour.

Once the software is installed, Beacon will move on to the firm-wide verification and performance examination phases of the evaluation. Once these phases have been successfully completed, a letter attesting to your compliance with the GIPS will be issued.
