Robert Cain
Owner, Founder
Robert is the founder and president of Cainsoft, a software development and consulting firm focused on bringing innovative and practical solutions to the asset management industry. He has worked in the investment industry for over 18 years; first with Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, and then as a consultant to the Morgan Stanley International Private Group in London. His current industry involvement comes through continuous contact with clients, colleagues, and partners worldwide.
His technology background can be traced back to the introduction of the personal computer in the early 1980's. As a self-taught programmer, he partially paid his way through college by writing database applications for local business and has continued his interest for over 25 years.
He is a 1987 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelors Degree in Physics, and continues to educate himself through work, reading, and extensive world travel. In 2006, he was inducted into the Society of International Business Fellows, a network of 450 CEOs and high-level executives who share a keen interest in global commerce.
When not sitting in front of his workstation, he can be found on one of the many hiking trails around Hong Kong, or watching Auburn Tigers and Miami Dolphins football games ... his European football team is Arsenal.
Eric Cheung
Software Developer
Eric was recruited out of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physics in 2007. While working full time at Cainsoft, he is completing his Master degree in Actuarial and Investment Science and will graduate this spring.
Eric is currently the lead developer on re-engineering our SQL Server-based reference data and distribution platform. His personal interests include programming, financial modeling, and statistical analysis. Eric enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, and Barcelona football in his limited free time.
Christy Liau

Operations at Cainsoft would come to an abrupt halt without Christy; she takes care of all of the issues related to running a business that everyone takes for granted ...
Christy is a 1995 economics graduate of Lambung Mangkurat University in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Prior to her work at Cainsoft she was involved in the fashion industry as a a wholesale buyer for Southeast Asian clients. Her hobbies include hiking, shopping, and Liverpool football.
