Andy Lam
Software Development Manager
Andy is a natural programmer who got his start at age 15, teaching himself Visual Basic while still in high school. Continuing his interest in programming, Andy graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. He completed his graduate studies in 2008 with a Masters degree in Actuarial and Investment Science.
Andy's contribution at Cainsoft has been significant. He is responsible for developing the entire SQL engine for StokTrib, and is currently developing our custodial data platform. Andy is also managing the redevelopment of our reference data and distribution platform. His areas of expertise are C#, SQL, XML and VBA. In addition to software development, Andy enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and Chelsea football.
Eric Cheung
Software Developer
Eric was recruited out of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physics in 2007. While working full time at Cainsoft, he is completing his Master degree in Actuarial and Investment Science and will graduate this spring.
Eric is currently the lead developer on re-engineering our SQL Server-based reference data and distribution platform. His personal interests include programming, financial modeling, and statistical analysis. Eric enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, and Barcelona football in his limited free time.
Nick Ho
Marketing Manager
Nick has evolved into a jack of all trades since joining Cainsoft. His primary responsibility is to coordinate our marketing efforts, but it is not uncommon to see him involved in documentation, testing, and even video production.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing Management from Oxford Brookes University in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, and is currently studying for the Certificate of Investment Performance Management (CIPM) designation. Nick is an avid traveler and tennis player, but can't commit to a football team.
Christy Liau
Administrator
Operations at Cainsoft would come to an abrupt halt without Christy; she takes care of all of the issues related to running a business that everyone takes for granted ...
Christy is a 1995 economics graduate of Lambung Mangkurat University in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Prior to her work at Cainsoft she was involved in the fashion industry as a a wholesale buyer for Southeast Asian clients. Her hobbies include hiking, shopping, and Liverpool football.
